Davina Shindler: I would replace the tires with the cheapest ones possible, because you will never get all your money back on them. If you replace them it will make a huge difference in how easy it it to sell your car though. It is amazing how a set of new tires just makes peoples day.
Tracy Huesso: Okay, do not replace the tires before you sell your car. The money you spend on tires will be lost and the person that ends up buying the car will ask for less then what you want even with good tires. I would only buy new tires for the car if your car looks really bad (lots of scratches, dings, and various other imperfections). From experience, the majority of used cars that are sold by private owners have bad tires or half worn out tires. Whatever you do, do not reduce the price and start out at a reasonable or higher price so you get what the car is actually worth....Show more
Brock Anwar: no, you wont make up the money spent on tires...absolutely NO.
Judi! e Kise: It's odd. If you tell someone it needs $400 in new tires they are going to want a $1000 discount. But really the new buyer is way better off buying the car for a little less and buying the tires themselves. That way they have a warranty on the tires. Why don't you advertise it at the list price with an allowance for tires?...Show more
Delora Struzzi: i'd. Get some sturdy used tires (about $100 and twenty for 4). this would advance the vehicles fee and make it more advantageous beautiful to skill shoppers. in my view, I continually verify the condition of tires before procuring a vehicle. i imagine maximum individuals do. So, spending $100 and twenty could bring about a more advantageous promoting fee. i'd not difficulty about the scratches except your promoting the motor vehicle for more advantageous than $5,000. sturdy success!...Show more
Oswaldo Rayburn: You should eat the tires first.
Alise Rutgers: Don't install cheap tires just so you can say ! it has new ones. Keep the price where it is and let the new ow! ner decide what tires they want to put on. This gives room for negotiation and you aren't out any money.
