Cyndy Grimes: I would say it is a hobby unless you are getting paid for it. This could happen a lot of ways, not just directly. There could be stud fees if your mom is showing a male, or selling puppies if it is a female. I am sure that there are other ways to make money doing this that I don't know about since I don't show dogs. If there is absolutely no money being made, than it has to be a hobby, since every job I have ever had put at least some money in my pocket.
