What is your dogs favorite dog toy?

Adan Stribble: You can use whatever word you want.I would use "dance", but that's just me. You could use "cake", "up", "pretty" .. whatever floats your boat.ADD: There is no official word for it.

Lupe Sancen: yes to a certain extent, its called panting when too hot and shivering when too cold.since they cant sweat like us, they pant and shivering burns calories and is the bodies way of trying to stay warm.

Isreal Kochheiser: I agree you should stop yelling and control your self better, dogs only want to please you..

Lynn Mctier: Something I call ' "flat suzie". a Piece of pink fur fabric in the shape of a doll but it is not stuffed. Everything else she pulls the stuffing out of. This lasts forever. And easy to throw into the wash too.

Cortez Badolato: My dog loves my old stuffed animals. Hes a little small, adorable maltipoo but he rips noses off. He also like bones. He likes squeky toys too.

Ellis Cellar: you do realize that dogs can not! understand what you are saying. You could say uberdufinsplerg as the command.

Dewey Heersink: a dogk bone that is all brown because it has been marinated in stuff

Verena Koop: A squeaky rubber bone made by Kong. Every freakin time I go outside he brings this toy to me to play fetch.

Jorge Detlefs: Kong and squeaky ball

Joie Libutti: For fetching toys, tennis balls and a bumperChew toys-my younger dog likes a kong rubber ball and my older dog likes the original kongs. They both also like busy buddy(Its a bone/ball with treat rings, google it to see how it looks)They like pretty much any toy that has to do with food and is a challenge(to get the food)

Forest Duttinger: Her favorites are her antler and these things called Derby Eggs that she stole from my ferret. She also loves this rope ball thing and really whatever toy we're willing to throw lol. She has a big box overflowing

Sang Hanafin: Both of my dogs love squeaky toys. My dachshund! loves the laser and my basset favors socks.

Georgina Na! tal: Hi -- dogs can "read" our feelings and emotions. it's best to take a deep breath if you start feeling yourself getting frustrated when working with the dog. If that doesn't help, then take a break.Getting a dog to listen takes patience and some training. You can find a lot of good, free information about dog training by doing a Yahoo search. I'd also recommend Cesar Milan's website here http://www.cesarsway.com/tips/ -- this site gives lots of information on dog behavior and how to relate to our dogs. Maybe your dog isn't eating all of her food because you give her too much at the time? Perhaps try reading the package label to see how much food they recommend for your dog's weight, then give her that amount. If she doesn't finish it, and if it's wet or canned food, you can always put it into a container and refrigerate it for her next meal. Instead of yelling at your dog when she barks at noises, think about why your dog is doing this -- dogs bark at strange noi! ses to alert us of something that's not normal, or of strangers or strange dogs. So, your dog is telling you, "hey, i hear something strange!" At these times, instead of yelling NO at her, just tell her it's ok and pet her a bit. Meanwhile you can work on the leave-it command with her. Once a dog learns to leave-it, you can use the command for just about anything. Here is a link http://www.pupdogtraining.com/leave-it.html -- if you want to find more information or use other methods, just do a yahoo search for Teaching a Dog to Leave It.If your anger level is unpredictible, then you can work on that, too. I know that i had to learn to stop and count to 15 or 20 in my mind before responding to any situation. When we do this, it give us a bit of time to calm down and re-think our response or behavior. I started practicing this about 20 years ago, and still do it. It's a good habit, even in positive situations!take care!

Galen Gowers: I considered "stand" but ! that is ussually used to get the dog up into its 4 legs from a down pos! ition.

Augustus Sarria: you shouldnt own a dog you beansproutcalm down

Carli Watterson: He's a labrador and he doesn't really care for toys much though he has a ton. He much prefers his bumper and tennis balls. But he does like this stuffed snake with squeakers from head to tail. And he loves his deer antlers.

Dan Seen: For instance, going outside on a cold day, then coming in to a warm house. How do they do it?

Donita Desjardin: My cocker spaniel naturally does it and i want to be able to request that on command using the right words.

Kimberlee Bowdish: Dogs do not come with a chip built in containing preset voice commands. You have to train the dog, or hire someone else to help you do it. The dog has to learn to associate the word "stand" with standing, or some similar word. Entice the dog to stand up, and then repeat the word a few times. Do this for a while, and you may have a dog who responds to the word "stand". Hold a treat above them t! o get them to stand up, then clearly say to them "stand". Give them the treat. Or maybe say stand and then hold the treat up. They need to associate the word "stand" with standing and with rewards as well. I honestly am just guessing on this, but I've heard a few dog lovers talk about this before.

Pei Heatherly: I say, "RISE, MY CHILD, RISE AND BE HEALED!" (like a tv evangelist) I think it's a funny bit to do for guests.or you could say "evolve" in a nod to Charles Darwin and his apes.

Frederic Engellant: No... dogs are warm blooded which means, like humans, their bodies stay at a constant temperature nomatter what the outside temperature is.

Daria Verfaillie: Theodore~ Plain old tennis balls. I can buy the most expensive toys in the world, and he's more happy with a tennis ball. Chelsea~it changes. She really likes these toys that look like mallards, canada geese and pheasants, but she is also perfectly content with my niece's old stuffed animals. Gene! rally, if we think the dogs need new toys, we take them to Petsmart and! let them pick the toys they want. Thats actually how we got the duck. I walked down the aisle with the toys just to get to the checkout and heard a weird quacking noise. Looked down and Chelsea was playing with the toy duck. I never even saw her grab it. After that we went back and got the goose and pheasant....Show more

Clement Viscarro: "WEASEL" is as good a command as any other. It doesn't matter what command you use. Until you train the dog to do this it isn't going to understand what you want it to do anyway. And if the dog already does this, it's simply a matter of getting it to recognize and condition to a word or phrase of your choosing.

Mahalia Brindle: no

Lon Pennington: ok so as a teen our attitudes are off the wall and we get upset or happy over the littlest things. Ok well in my problem i feel as though i'm always scaring my dog. I get upset because she is not listening to me, and sometimes when she doesn't eat her food i get mad because i fe! el like its a waste! Also when i take her out to pee she doesn't want to go because i feel as though she is scared of me. When she barks over hearing noises i get mad also and i will shout no. I really hate this because i feel we don't trust each other and it really hurts my feelings that my anger level is just unpredictable. So how do i reconnect with my dog i really want that solid bond between us, is there activities that we can do to bond or should i stop yelling or what please help me thanks ooo soo much. I love my dog to death but some of the things she does annoys me, but thanks for the help! :)

Buster Exline: my dog loves tennis balls with squeakers in them!

Elissa Curlin: Both my dogs will drop everything for a stuffed kong. Otherwise, my puppy's favorite toy is a stuffed duck.

Jestine Osumi: I know i could use any word i want, but I am looking for the "official" term for it, if there is one already out there, to train her with.
