What type / size of paper do comic book artists use?

Wally Perrien: Most comic artists (Comic Book not Anime) use 11"x17" size paper. And there are a ton of good brands out there. Canson is a good starting place.

Joni Ziak: it truthfully relies upon on what you're doing. i might want to say felt tip pens paintings suited because it really is all rounded off except you fairly want an area. Prismacolor markers are the suited fingers down. usual pens are reliable for most stuff yet make positive it flows nicely. you'd be in basic terms advantageous with a majority of those components.

Leif Andreason: For the size, it depends on what company the comic artist is submitting to. For instance, Yenpress takes 7x10 3/8 inch size pages whereas Tokyopop can take just regular letter size. For paper, it depends on what medium you're using. :3
