Should i take microbiology or human physiology?

answers 0:Im 15 and taking deciding on which summer class to take at my local JC. I want to get into them medical field when im older so i decided to take a science class. I just want a class in the summer so it will look good on a college transcript. But if i fail a class then it looks bad. What are your experiences with taking summer classes and these classes? Please be specific on what goes on in these classes and what you need to learn and what you exactly learn and stuff! thank you...Show moreanswers 1:Take Human Physiology. It sounds like you're just "testing the waters" of the science field, so to speak, so it's the better option, since Microbiology is a whole lot of dense material. Good luck.answers 2:I suggest taking an English class, as you clearly have some serious syntax issues!answers 3:For me Microbiology, Anatomy then Phy! siology. Micro is interesting. It talks about bacteria that causes diseases so I found that interesting. Anatomy is just organs, landmarks and structure. Physiology is how a particular system works and with what chemical reactions. A good thing to make sure you understand is the Krebs cycle, the basics of gap junctions, active transport, facilitated transport and things of that nature. A lot of that comes up in following chapters. What chemical messengers excite the heart, how is the pace make action produced, how does the signal get sent to other muscle cells of the heart. With this being said there is a lot to learn in all three subjects so the one you find the most interesting will be the easiest for you :)...answers 4:I'd suggest anatomy or even extra, more advanced bio or chem. You'll be going to undergrad first, which means they don't care too much, What truly matters is that you maintain good grades in your first four years of college, in preparation for med schools.! Also choose something unique for your first major, try to sta! y away from a science major. Sounds weird, but med schools like to see that you are diverse, so you could major in another language, or even something like religion. You answered mine, so hope I helped, and best of luck....answers 5:Both of these are not good choices for you. Microbiology and physio are classes for allied health majors, such as nurses and dental hygienists. People in these majors are older, often have clinical experience and are only in school in order to earn higher vocational certifications (namely RN licensure). They are SERIOUS about their studies because their careers depend on these classes. I'd advise against taking either of these classes just for fun. Moreover these courses are NOT university track and won't count for much if you are going to a regular 4-year university and do NOT intend to major in allied health or health sciences. If you need a good transferable science course, I'd actually recommend you try introductory physics or chemistry since! these can transfer easily and they count towards pre-reqs for med school, dental school and others....
