Laser or Optical mouse ?

Kip Ockenfels: if your going to be using it on an uneven surface, then the optical ones will be better as they have a slightly bigger range/distance from the LED to the surface to the sensor that they work, laser mice some have a very small working distance so as soon as there lifted a tiny amount they dont move.but the laser one will have better accuracy, but probably a shorter battery life.the 2 optical ones have a indicator light on them so you know if the battery is running low, which is good!i'd probably go with the small one the first choice you put down....Show more
