I have turtlebeach X4 and a surround sound system and i hear sound out of both. as long as the optical is just for the headset and not for the surround sound then you can hear both. Dexter Gold: The xbox 360 is an excellent console, the online experience is amazing the graphics are practically the same as the PS3 but the xbox has more games to appreciate.
